Your daily numbers.
General reference estimates — not personal medical targets.
One advertised Velq pack contains 20g protein and 10g prebiotic fiber. Here's how those amounts compare with the estimates above.
A nutrient comparison — not a recommendation to take a certain number of packs.
Velq's set formula includes 80mg caffeine per packet. The product is prelaunch; check the retail label for serving directions and caffeine warnings before use.
What does this calculator tell you?
Your protein estimate starts with body weight. The general adult reference is 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight per day. Physically active people, especially those training intensely, may use a higher range. This calculator uses example ranges of 1.2–1.6 grams per kilogram for regular exercise and 1.6–2.0 grams for intense training; these are not minimum requirements for every active person.
Your fiber estimate uses the commonly cited reference of 14 grams of fiber per 1,000 calories. For example, someone eating about 2,000 calories would see an estimate of 28 grams of fiber per day. This calculation does not measure current intake, calorie needs, or nutritional adequacy.
Why show protein and fiber together?
They are different nutrients with different roles in an eating pattern. Seeing both estimates in one place makes it easier to understand nutrition labels and plan varied food choices. Food-first sources can include legumes, whole grains, fruit, vegetables, dairy, soy foods, and other protein-rich foods, depending on your needs and preferences.
Important context
This tool is an educational reference for generally healthy adults. It is not intended for children or for specialized situations such as pregnancy, certain medical conditions, or clinician-prescribed diets. If you need individualized guidance, consult a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian.
National Academies' dietary reference tables: protein and fiber reference intakes. For higher-intensity training this tool uses ranges within those described by NIH. The 14g/1,000-calorie fiber reference comes from established U.S. dietary reference guidance.
Frequently asked questions.
How does the protein calculator work?
The calculator multiplies your body weight in kilograms by a daily grams-per-kilogram reference. The adult baseline uses 0.8g/kg; exercise settings show example ranges of 1.2–2.0g/kg. Individual needs vary.
How is the daily fiber estimate calculated?
The estimate uses 14 grams of fiber for each 1,000 calories. At 2,000 calories, this works out to 28 grams per day. This is a general reference, not an assessment of your actual dietary intake.
Is this personalized medical advice?
No. It is for general education for adults. It does not account for pregnancy, kidney disease, other medical conditions, individual calorie needs, or recommendations from your own clinician.
Does the comparison tell me how many Velq packs to take?
No. It compares advertised nutrients in one product pack with general estimates. It is not a serving-frequency recommendation. Velq contains caffeine and is in development; check final packaging and nutrition details before using the product.
